Dorothy L. Platt 

EXETER - Dorothy L. Platt, 76, died November 12, 2000, at her home. 

She was born in Oklahoma City, Ok., raised in Ada, Ok., and had resided in 
Wilton and Canaan, Conn. 

She attended Oklahoma College for Women, where she was president of the 
freshman class and the University of Oklahoma majoring in music. 

Mrs. Platt was an interior designer and piano teacher. 

She is survived by her husband, Richard N. Platt Jr.; three daughters, 
Abigail Collinge of Kittery, Maine, Laura Lunardo of Exeter and Lisa Platt of
Dover; one son, William A. Platt of Seekonk, Mass.; and six grandchildren. 

Private memorial services were held Friday at her daughter's home in Kittery. 

Memorial donations may be made to the National Endowment for the Arts. 

Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter.
