Boetti FREMONT - Ernest F. Boetti, 67, of 85 Riverside Drive, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, in Exeter Hospital. He was born July 9, 1933, the son of Doris (Mears) Fortuna of Brentwood and the late Ernest F. Boetti. He was raised in Merrimac, Mass., and resided in Fremont for 25 years. He was a 1952 graduate of Merrimac High School and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Boetti was employed by Bell Labs in North Andover, Mass., (now Lucent Technologies) for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brentwood, where he was a soloist and a member of the choir; a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America; and a member and past master of Gideon Lodge No. 84, F.&A.M. of Kingston. He was a former member of the John Greenleaf Whittier Chapter, Order of DeMolay, in Haverhill, Mass. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Mainiero of Hampton; two sons, Charles Boetti of Concord and Philip Boetti of Hampton; three grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Huddleston of Newton; one brother, Bruce Boetti; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one grandson, Christopher Green, who died in 1999. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
