Clement PLAISTOW - John Blair Clement, 72, of 79 Kingston Road, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, in Exeter Hospital after a brief illness. He was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Manchester, the son of the late Henry and Alice Clement. He was raised in Epping and resided in Lynn, Mass., before returning to Epping where he resided for many years. He was a graduate of Lynn English High School and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Clement was the superintendent of cemeteries for the Archdiocese of Boston retiring after 32 years of service. He was a member and former chancellor of the Knights of Pythias in Lynn. He is survived by two brothers, Henry Clement and Raymond Clement, both of Lynn; two sisters, Dorothy Wood of California and Violet Murphy of Washington; many nieces and nephews; and two friends, Wilbur L. Furbish and Ralph D. Brewster. He was predeceased by two brothers, Earnest Clement and Edward Clement; and one sister, Alice MacDonald. A Spiritual Mass will be celebrated in Holy Angels Church, Plaistow, at the convenience of the family.
