Earls HAMPTON - Katherine D. Earls, 88, formerly of the Dearborn House, died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000, at Exeter Healthcare. She was born June 25, 1912, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of the late John and Catherine (Kelly) Rogers and was a longtime resident of Somerville, Mass., moving to Rye in 1967 and to Hampton in 1986. Mrs. Earls was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. The widow of Thomas W. Earls, who died in 1995, she is survived by two sons, Thomas W. Earls Jr. of Franklin, Mass., and Leo F. Earls of Lowell, Mass.; four daughters, Dorothy Dahlinger of Dracut, Mass., Kathryn L. O'Leary of Peabody, Mass., Marianne Danforth of Kittery, Maine, and Patricia Earls of Exeter; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Eleanor Donnellan of Dracut, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, John Rogers; and one sister, Alice Rogers. Funeral services will be held Friday at noon in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, followed at 1:30 p.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Rye.
