Mary T. Swope 

EXETER - Mary T. Swope, 80, of Reading, Pa., died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, in 
Exeter Hospital. 

She was born Jan. 2, 1920, in Reading, the daughter of the late Winfield S. 
and Marie (Riggs) Yocom and was a lifelong resident of Reading. 

Mrs. Swope was a technician at Western Electric retiring in 1983 after 24 
years of service. 

The widow of Kenneth S. Swope, who died in 1995, she is survived by one 
daughter, Jeanne Pichini of Exeter; one son, Kenneth M. Swope of Marblehead,
 Mass.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane 
Koch of Reading. 

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Reading. Burial will 
follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Reading. 

Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter.
