Drew EXETER - Richard F. Drew, 65, of 50 Brookside Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in Exeter Hospital. Arrangements were incomplete at press time and will be announced in the next edition by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter. Richard F. Drew EXETER - Richard F. Drew, 65, of 50 Brookside Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in Exeter Hospital. He was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Amesbury, Mass., the son of the late Warren G. and Malvina B. (Joburt) Drew. He was raised in Amesbury and had resided in Kensington for many years before moving to Exeter. He was a 1952 graduate of Amesbury High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Drew was a mason and he owned and operated Drew Construction Co. He served on the Kensington School Board for 31 years and was recognized by former Governor Sununu for service to the town. He also served on the joint school boards of S.A.U. 16. The playground at Kensington Elementary School was dedicated to him for his many years of service to the school. He was a member of the American Legion post No. 105 of Kensington, helping in the construction of the new building. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joan B. (Kinney) Drew of Exeter; one son, David A. Drew of Newton; three daughters, Kathy A. Drew of New York City, Wendy E. Lawler of Kensington and Laurie E. Fortier of Carneys Point, N.J.; six grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Chaisson of Seabrook; and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Kensington Congregational Church, 128 Amesbury Road, Kensington. Burial will be in Village Cemetery, Kensington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kensington Elementary School Children's Fund, c/o S.A.U. 16, 24 Front St., Exeter, NH 03833.
