Hoyt HAMPTON - Simonne A. Hoyt, 68, o 8 Thayer Road, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital. She was born June 24, 1932 in Manchester, the daughter of the late George and Yvonne (Coulon) Ladouceur. Mrs. Hoyt was a graduate of Somersworth High School with the class of 1948. In earlier years she worked as the Registrar of Deeds and as a deputy sheriff for Strafford County. She was later employed as a secretary for the law firm of Fisher, Parsons, Moran & Temple in Dover from 1951 until moving to Hampton in 1963. After raising her family she returned to work as the secretary to the Guidance Department at Winnacunnet High School and retired last year with 21 years of service. She also served as secretary to the SAU 21 School Board for many years. Mrs. Hoyt was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Alden Samuel Hoyt; two daughters and their husbands, Susan M. Hoyt and Chris Spitters of Seattle, Wash., and Sandra M. Hoyt and Mark P. Ritchie of North Hampton; one sister, Georgette T. Ladouceur of Rochester; three grandchildren; one aunt; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton.
