She was born Sept. 12, 1950, in Bangkok, Thailand, the daughter of Sanun and Upa (Jutsongai) Potong. She came to America and lived in Portsmouth before she moved and settled in Kittery, where she had lived for the past three years. She worked for the Watts Fluid Air Company in Kittery for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, reading, watching TV and movies, and being a mother to her three beloved daughters: Jennifer Ross, Melissa Ross and Tabatha Gilmore, all of Kittery. Besides her daughters, she is survived by her grandson, Isaiah Smith, who was her pride and joy. She also has a brother and two sisters, who live in Thailand. Amporn was well liked and respected by her many friends and former co-workers, and will be deeply missed by all of them. ALBERT - Amporn Albert, 50, of Kittery, died Friday evening, Dec. 8, 2000, at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, N.H. A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at the Advent Christian Church, 634 State St., Portsmouth, with the Rev. Russell Carle officiating. There will be no visitation hours.
