She was born in Enfield, Conn., and had resided in Suffield, Conn., and Hampton, moving to Chicopee in 1988. Mrs. MacArdle was the vice president of list services for ADVO Systems of Hartford, Conn., retiring in 1987. She is survived by one son and his wife, Joseph and Marcia MacArdle of Suffield; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Joean and Allen Griffin of Exeter, Patti Forgarty of Bethesda, Md., Krys and Rick Salon of Ridgefield, Conn., and Teri Coughlin of Windsor, Conn.; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Joean Gorman of Springfield, Mass. She was predeceased by one brother, John Gorman. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Leete Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church, 64 Pearl St., Enfield. Burial will be in St. Patrick King Street Cemetery.
