Poisson, 83, died at the Coös County Nursing Home in Berlin early on December 12, 2000 after a long illness. Born on March 31, 1917 in St. George, Canada, she was the daughter of Louis E. and Louise (Plourde) Lambert. Mrs. Poisson was graduated from St. Regis Academy in Berlin. She was married to Robert Poisson on August 1, 1942. The couple ran Bob's Market in Beecher Falls from 1949 to 1969, when they moved to Berlin. Until recently, she split her time be-tween Berlin and her residence in Florida. Mrs. Poisson enjoyed flying, cooking, gardening and painting. She was very good with arts and crafts. She loved people and socializing and will be remembered as a loving, family person. She was a member of St. Ann's Church, The Children of Mary, and took part in the Living Rosary at St. Joseph's Church. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Robert of Madison Avenue in Berlin; a son, Richard Poisson of Columbia and his wife Judy; a brother, George H. Lambert of Manchester; six sisters, Marielle Blais and Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Lamothe of Bristol, Conn., Mrs. Raymond (Theresa) Lefevre of Berlin, Mrs. Pat (Irene) Patnaude of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Raoul (Lucille) Boucher of Berlin and Mrs. Bill (Dorothy) Bolia of New London, Conn.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Poisson was predeceased by a son, Raymond, and two brothers, Jean Paul and Lucien. Calling hours were held at the Main Armstrong Funeral Home in Groveton on Friday, December 15. Funeral services were held at St. Anne Church in Berlin on Saturday, followed by interment at St. Anne's Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook and the Main Armstrong Funeral Home in Groveton.
