Harrigan, Publisher FORMATTED: by CParziale, 2000 ***************************************************************************** Bradford Erickson CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Bradford "Brad" Erickson, 60, of South Yarmouth, Mass., and Lancaster, died on Dec. 1, after being struck by a truck during a work detail in Centerville, Mass. The son of Arvid T. and Alexandra Erickson, he was born and raised in Trumbull, Conn. He was a graduate of the Connecticut State Police Academy, as well as the Massachusetts State Police Academy. Mr. Erickson was a patrol officer for 28 years for the town of Yarmouth and prior to that a reserve officer in Monroe, Conn. for several years. In addition to his patrol duties, he was a member of the Yarmouth Vehicle Enforcement Safety Team and the Motor Unit. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Erickson was a member and secretary of the Blue Knights. He was a ham operator, N1SGL, and an avid hunter. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie (Dean) Erickson of South Yarmouth; a son, Harley A. Erickson of Framingham, Mass.; a daughter, Elizabeth Erickson of South Yarmouth; and his mother, Alexandra Erickson of Brewster, Mass. A funeral service will be held today (Wednesday), Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church of Yarmouth in Yarmouth Port, Mass.
