Harrigan, Publisher ( Dec 20, 2000-issue) "All the news that fits" FORMATTED: by CParziale, 2000 ***************************************************************************** Bartlett Heywood BETHLEHEM - Bartlett Heywood, 78, of 46 Agassiz St., Bethlehem, died at the Lafayette Health Care Center in Franconia on Wednesday morning, Dec. 13, after a long illness. He was born in Concord, Vt., the son of Frank and Myrtle (Hamilton) Heywood. He lived many years in the St. Johnsbury/Waterford area, prior to spending a few years in Orford, and more recently in Bethlehem. He retired as a foreman from the Ralston-Purina Company. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Jones) Heywood of Bethlehem; two daughters, Karen Locke of Sugar Hill, and Colleen Atwood of Orford; three sons, John Heywood of McIndoe Falls, Vt., Gary Heywood of Jericho, Vt., Dwight Heywood of Shoshone, Idaho; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Burial will take place in the spring in the Riverside Cemetery in Waterford, Vt. Those who wish may make donations in his memory to the Weeks Home Health Services, 278 Main St., Lancaster, NH 03584.
