Lang NEWMARKET - Dorothy B. Lang, 92, formerly of Great Hill Terrace, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2000, at Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, where she had resided for the past three years. She was born Sept. 17, 1908, in North Andover, Mass., the daughter of Lewis and Beatrice (Jewell) Reynolds, and had resided in Newmarket for most of her life. Mrs. Lang was a member of Newmarket Community Church; the Newmarket Senior Citizens; and was active with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, where she played the piano for their functions. She was a former member of Lamprey Aerie No. 1934, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary and the F.O.E. Bowling Team. The widow of Charles W. Lang, Sr., who died in 1963, she is survived by four sons, Charles W. Lang Jr., Theodore M. Lang and Gilbert L. Lang Sr., all of Newmarket, and David E. Lang Sr. of Exeter; two daughters, Lois G. Beaulieu and Patsy J. Hawkins, both of Newmarket; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, Beatrice Lang, who died February 4. Funeral services were held Thursday in Newmarket Community Church with the Rev. David Wuori officiating. Graveside services were in Newfields Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, c/o Peter Millette, 140 Court St., Portsmouth, NH 03801.
