She was born in Portsmouth, April 25, 1925, and graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1943. She owned and operated Dee's Cozy Corner, formerly of Hampton, for many years. She was predeceased by her father, Herbert Barrett, and her sister Charlotte Nowaczyk. Survivors include her mother, Thelma Barrett, of Rye, N.H.; a great aunt, Melba Drake, of Rye; a sister, Carol Kennedy, of Rye; three daughters, Donna Rekasis, and her husband, James, of Anchorage, Alaska, Linda Van Etten, and her husband, Kevin, of Greenland, and Sharon Fleck, of Roxbury, N.Y.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 11 nephews and one niece. LOVEJOY - Dolores Barrett Lovejoy, 75, of Greenland, N.H., died Dec. 20, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth. Friends are invited. Visiting hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Chapel. Family flowers only. Bearers were Jamie Chambers, Jay Smith, Jared Smith, James Rekasis, Kevin Van Etten and Rick Kennedy.
