David Rain 

NEWTON - David Rain, 58, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, as the result of an 
automobile accident on Route 108 in Newton. 

He was born in Haverhill, Mass., the son of the late Harry and Mildred 
(Marcoux) Rain and had resided in Newton for 45 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lucille (Gosselin) Rain; one son, 
Jason Rain of Greeley, Colo.; one daughter, Melissa Rain of Ft. Collins, 
Colo.; one brother, Alan Rain of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Sandra Clancy
of Seattle, Wash., Jeannine Dusombre of Stoneham, Mass., and Pauline Smith 
of West Newbury, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

There are no calling hours. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Mary 
Mother of the Church, Newton. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 15612, Worcester, 
MA 01615-9811. 

Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter.
