Clark HAMPTON - Evelyn H. Clark , 76, of Hampton died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at the Dover Rehabilitation and Living Center after a long illness. She was born on Oct. 1, 1924, in Methuen, Mass., the daughter of Eva and Frank Duemling. She was a graduate of Searles High School and the widow of Matthew T. Clark, who passed away in 1958. She worked for the A&P supermarkets for 22 years, retiring in 1987. She was a 50-year member of the First Congregational Church of Hampton, and a member of the Congregational Church Women's Guild, the Hampton Garden Club and the Hampton Senior Citizens Club. She also volunteered at the Seacoast Health Center and enjoyed helping others. She will be remembered for her many acts of kindness in the community. Members of her family include one daughter, Carol A. Blain and her husband, Stephen, of Barrington; one son, Matthew W. Clark of Hampton; a sister, Betty A. Albis and her husband, Leonard, of Salem; four grandchildren, Jonathan Blain of Barrington, Christopher Blain of Johnson City, N.Y., and Leslie and Matthew Clark of Hampton; and a niece and nephew. CLARK - Evelyn H. Clark, 76, of Hampton, died Dec. 31, 2000. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the First Congregational Church in Hampton.
