Lauderbaugh LITTLETON - Eva M. Lauderbaugh, 75, of Littleton, died on Dec. 24, 2000, at Littleton Regional Hospital after a long battle with ALS. She was born on March 5, 1925, in Pittsburg, the daughter of Charles H. and Yvonne (Henrichon) Lord. She grew up there and attended Pittsburg schools, graduating in the Class of 1943. She was married to Edward O. Lauderbaugh, who died in 1998. Mrs. Lauderbaugh was a member of First United Methodist Church of Littleton, United Methodist Women, and the Order of the Eastern Star-Mt. Eustis Chapter 37. She was a past master and longtime member of Golden Grange in Libson until it closed. She was a member "in good standing" of the Mt. Hope Grange of Landaff and Northern New Hampshire Pomona. Other memberships included the Pittsburg and Littleton Historical Societies. She had owned and operated Peanut’s restaurant in Littleton, worked for J.J. Newbury, the White Mountain School, Littleton Fabric Care, and Donavan’s Nursing Home. In her later years she had been a Mary Kay consultant. Mrs. Lauderbaugh also supported All Saints Church. She was active in all church activities, with a special interest in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School until her illness. She had many interests, such as canning and knitting. She was predeceased by her husband; parents; one sister, Grace Harvey; four brothers, Earl Lord, Alfred Lord, Robert Lord, and Lester Lord; and two grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Craigie and Melodie (Caswell) Jock. Surviving relatives include four daughters, Bonnie Poor of Bath, Bobette Bedor, Barbara Craigie, and Brenda Schlenker, all of Littleton; one stepdaughter, Beverly Stephens of LaPine, Ore.; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Calling hours and a funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Barbara Thrall, were held at Pillsbury Funeral Home on Dec. 27. There will be a memorial service at first United Methodist Church in Littleton on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Joseph Beardsley officiating. A graveside service will take place in the spring at the Indian Stream Cemetery in Pittsburg.
