Elaine R. Shea 

PORTSMOUTH - Elaine R. Shea, 90, of Middle Street, formerly of Newington, 
went to be with Jesus on Friday, Dec. 31, 1999. 

She was born in Patten, Maine, Jan. 8, 1909, the daughter of the late Robert 
E. and Ellen (Clark) Birmingham. 

Mrs. Shea moved to Newington in 1968, coming from Presque Isle, Maine, and 
continued to spend her summers at Long Lake in Sinclair, Maine. 

She was a former member of the Sinclair Senior Citizens Club and the 
Newington Ladies Fire Department Auxiliary. She also played the piano at the
 Church of Jesus in Presque Isle, Maine, for many years. 

She was the wife of the late Andrew R. Shea, who has been waiting in Heaven 
since 1996 with open arms for his loving wife of 59 years.
