Flight BIRMINGHAM, Ala - Gordon L. Flight, 64, died in Birmingham, Ala. on Nov. 23, 2000. Mr. Flight taught at the Lancaster School from 1963-1965 before serving as Groveton Elementary School principal, then moving into the SAU #58 offices in 1971 becoming the assistant superintendent. He was a graduate of Gordon College in Massachusetts and received his MA from Plymouth State College. He lived in St. Johnsbury for 15 years before moving to Centre, Ala. to pursue missionary work. He is survived by three sons, Richard, John and Andrew; two grandchildren; and one brother, Donald Flight. Memorial contributions may be made to Rainbow Acres, P.O.
