Baker EAST KINGSTON - Helen May (Cilley) Baker, 101, of Depot Road, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2000, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, after a brief illness. She was born July 13, 1899, in Kingston, the daughter of George and Lela M. (Bartlett) Cilley and had been a longtime resident of East Kingston. Mrs. Baker was an active member of the East Kingston Community Methodist Church. She was a past master of Wingold Grange; past Nobel Grand of Ruth Rebekah Lodge No. 66; a member of the N.H. Rebekah Assembly; past matron of Corinthian Order of the Eastern Star, now Corinthian Queen Esther Lodge. The widow of Frederick G. Baker Jr., who died in 1984, she is survived by two daughters, Marion B. Avery of Exeter and Ruth Palmer of East Kingston; one son, George F. Baker of East Kingston; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Spring graveside services will be held in Hillside Cemetery, East Kingston. Memorial donations may be made to the East Kingston Community Methodist Church, c/o Nathaniel Rowell, Depot Road, East Kingston, NH 03827.
