Harrigan, Publisher (Dec 13, 2000 -issue) FORMATTED: by CParziale, 2000 ***************************************************************************** Harold Cauthorn WHITEFIELD - Harold Cauthorn, 94, of the Morrison Nursing Home, died on Wednesday Dec. 6, 2000 at Weeks Medical Center Hospital, Lancaster, after a recent illness. Mr. Cauthorn was born in Edmond, Okla. on Oct. 1906, the son of Charles A. and Daisy (Bunstine) Cauthorn. Raised in Oklahoma he later moved to Los Angeles, Calif. where he graduated from high school and trade school. He became a mechanical engineer and welder, retiring with G&W Engineering in Los Angeles. He moved east in 1978 and resided in Portsmouth for eight years. He has also resided in Woodsville, Lisbon, Gilman, and the Highland House in Whitefield, where he lived for seven years. He has been a resident of Morrison Nursing Home since 1995. He is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Lee Morse of Whitefield; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Daryl Lyn Cauthorn, in 1978. There are no calling hours or services to be held at this time. Burial will be later in the spring in Riverside Cemetery; South Lunenburg.
