Josephine E. Bickford 

BRENTWOOD - Josephine E. (Brown) Bickford, 87, of North Road, died Saturday,
Dec. 23, 2000, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home. 

She was born June 7, 1913, in South Hampton, the daughter of the late Harry 
G. and Annie (Dow) Brown and resided most of her life in South Hampton. 

Mrs. Bickford was a housekeeper for Elton's Orchard, Hampton Falls, for many 
years. 

She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and decorating. 

The widow of Randolph T. Bickford, who died in 1968, she is survived by two 
sons and their wives, Randolph T. and Roberta Bickford Jr. of South Hampton 
and Henry E. and Nancy Bickford of Exeter; two daughters, Mary Young and her 
husband Jim of Plaistow and Linda Pitts; five grandchildren; three 
great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Brown of Kensington and Ralph Brown 
of Raymond; and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Paul C. Rogers & Sons Funeral 
Home, Amesbury, Mass. Interment was in Wildwood Cemetery, Seabrook.
