Parker, 84, formerly of Berlin and recently a resident of Coös County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown, died on November 19, 2000 at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook. Born in Berlin on December 15, 1915, he was the son of Gayton and Elsie (Prescott) Parker. He was a lifelong Berlin resident. During World War II he served in the Army Air Corps and was stationed in England. Before retiring, Mr. Parker worked for Brown Company. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a devoted husband and father. He was married to Eleanor (Oswell) Parker, who died on October 7, 1990. Family members include a son, John Parker of Gorham; a daughter, Ann Parker Bourbeau, of Berlin; and five grandchildren. A calling hour was held on Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel in Berlin. The funeral was held on Saturday in the funeral home with burial in the New City Cemetery.
