Born July 3, 1927, in Epping, he was the son of the late Daniel and Eva (Gamblin) Desjardins. He had lived in Epping until he moved to Raymond 22 years ago. He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked for the Epping Garage for many years, and retired from Epping Machine as a machinist after working there for more than 20 years. Survivors include three daughters, Diane Hurteau, Terri Hojaboom and Sam Desjardins, all of Brentwood; two brothers, Alfred Desjardins and Arthur Desjardins, both of Epping; two sisters, Leona Castle of Raymond, and Rita Lawton of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Alice Brooks. DESJARDINS - Romeo Joseph Desjardins, 73, of Raymond, died Dec. 8, 2000. There will be no visiting hours. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 27, Epping. Burial will include full military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Seacoast Hospice Exeter Division, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
