Ficke NEWMARKET - Russell E. Ficke, 42, of 39 Stagecoach Road, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at his home. Mr. Ficke was born in Lubbock, Texas, Nov. 16, 1958, the son of Robert J. Ficke of Dover and the late Suzanne M. (Tunney) Ficke. He was raised in Hampton and had lived in various parts of the country before moving to Newmarket several months ago. He worked for several years in the construction trades both as a carpenter and ironworker. In recent years he had traveled with a carnival operator, erecting and operating a Ferris Wheel. He was a 1976 graduate of Winnacunnet High School. He was predeceased by his mother who died in 1985, and by his sister, Mary Elizabeth Ficke, in 1981. In addition to his father, family members include three brothers, Robert J. Ficke Jr. of York Harbor, Me., John F. Ficke of Torrington, Conn., and Daniel E. Ficke of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Patricia F. Doyon of Concord and Kathleen F. Stewart of Altus, Okla.; his stepmother, Mary Lou Ficke of Dover; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. FICKE - Russell E. Ficke, 42, of 39 Stagecoach Road, Newmarket died Dec. 9, 2000. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call from 9 - 9:30 a.m., Thursday, at the Remick and Gendron Funeral Home - Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will be in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
