McGrath GUILDHALL - Rayma E. McGrath, 82, of Route 102, died at the Pines Nursing Home in Lyndonville, Vt. after a lengthy illness. Rayma was born in Springfield, Mass. on April 4, 1918, the daughter of Arthur F. and Gertrude (Boucher) McGrath. Rayma was born and raised in Springfield, Mass. and was a graduate of Springfield Central High School. She also attended Civil Service Business School. Former employment includes the Eastern States Farm Exchange in West Springfield, Attorney Zeo of Springfield, and she was office manager for many years at McGrath Electrical Co. Inc., a business owned and operated by her brother Arthur. In 1982 she moved to Guildhall and for 17 years operated McGrath’s Antique Lamp Shop. She was a communicant of All Saints Church and a member of Women in Construction, Springfield. Family members include her brother, Arthur F. McGrath Jr. of Guildhall; and a cousin, Rosalie McGraw, of Lancaster. Visiting hours will be held on Friday afternoon and evening, Dec. 29, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home in Lancaster. A Mass of Christian Burial is tentatively scheduled at this press time for Saturday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, Lancaster. The Rev. John Mazzei, pastor, will officiate.
