McQueeney, 30, died on Dec. 10, 2000 in Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook after a sudden illness. Born in Manchester on Sept. 23, 1970, he was the son of Francis T. and Dorothy H. (Lavallee) McQueeney of Pittsburg. He lived many years in Manchester before moving to Pittsburg just over four years ago. In 1991, he graduated from Manchester Memorial High School. Mr. McQueeney participated in the New Hampshire Special Olympics for nine years. He earned several medals from his competition. He was a member of the Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club of Pittsburg. He enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling. Mr. McQueeney was a communicant of St. Albert Parish, Stewartstown. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Scott (Maria) Southmayd of Derry. Calling hours are today (Wednesday) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in J. Robert Durning Funeral Home, 754 Chestnut St., corner of North St., Manchester. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 9 a.m. in St. Edmond Church, 55 Edmond St., Manchester. Burial will be in the New St. Joseph Cemetery, where the committal service will be held in Shaw Memorial Chapel.
