Meeks KITTERY, Maine - Sharon Kay Meeks, 56, of Cutts Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2000, at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born May 5, 1944, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of the late Donald and Pauline (Davis) McBride. She had resided in Kittery for the past year and had formerly lived in Lee for one year and in Portsmouth for 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Samuel G. Meeks of Kittery; three daughters, Cathy Lauber of Greenland, Debra Tatro of Rye and Tina Tatro of North Hampton; one son, Johnnie Meeks of Barrington; seven grandchildren; one sister, Beverly Sue Harlan of Springfield, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston, with the Rev. Daniel Weaver officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Bldg., 360 Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032 or to The United Way, 71 International Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801. Calling hours will be held on from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, N.H. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston, N.H. The Rev. Daniel Weaver will officiate.
