Arguin BERLIN - Mrs. Violet V. (Davis) Arguin, 93, formerly of Berlin, died on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000 at the Coös County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown. Born in Berlin on March 23, 1907, she was the daughter of Chester and Annie (Begerson) Davis and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a lifelong member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and a former member of Club Joliette. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Eva) Legassie of North Fryeburg, Me. and Mrs. Doris Tanguay, of Gorham; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Irene Blake of Lancaster. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard O. Arguin, who died on Sept. 18, 2000; a son, Donald Arguin; and a grandson.
