Bergeron PORTSMOUTH - Funeral services for Mrs. Yvette I. (Gamache) Bergeron, 63, of 18 Columbia St., were held from the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, in Portsmouth, on Wednesday, with a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Church in Portsmouth. Father Edward J. Kelley, pastor, was celebrant. Altar server was Mary Ferguson. Readings were given by Lynne Libby. Mary Leonard was soloist and organist was Marion Arnoldy. In attendance were communicants of the church and members of the Frank E. Booma Women's Auxiliary Unit No. 6 of Portsmouth. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, with committal services by Father Kelley. Mrs. Bergeron's daughter, Diane Bergeron, and granddaughter, Heather Careno, read poems. Bearers were Raymond Bergeron, Roland Bergeron, Ryan Careno, Barbara Bergeron, Jim Dumont and Ray Bergeron Jr. American Legion Women's Auxiliary services were held on Tuesday evening at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel by Frank E. Booma Unit No. 6, including Shirley Williams, president; Betty Sanford, chaplain; Brenda Walton, sergeant of arms; Karyn Horn, secretary and color guard; Sheila Brooks, 1st vice president; Shirley Calvert, 1st vice president, Department N.H.; June Daley, past department president; Mary Pento, department, junior vice; Gloria Barnes, past sergeant of arms; Patty Belleville, color guard; Carl Walton, past commander; Leo Peters, S.A.L. commander and color guard; Richard Brooks, adjutant and color guard. **************************************************************************** * * * * Notice: Printing the files within by non-commercial individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
