Rousseau, 82, of Spruce Lane, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 7, 1918, in Chelmsford, Mass., the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Ann (Gagne) Rousseau. She had lived in Lawrence, Lowell and Chelmsford, Mass., and had resided in Kingston since 1987. She is survived by two brothers, Raymond Rousseau and Maurice Rousseau, both of Florida; four sisters, Jean Shekola of Salem, Rachel Lange of Raymond, Theresa Hughes of Kingston, with whom she made her home, and Blanche Clements of Canada; and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston, at a later date. Shaw, 69, of 10 Glen Drive, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, at his daughter's' home in Hampton Falls. He was born July 11, 1931, in Amesbury, Mass., the son of the late Edward and Eleanor (Williams) Shaw. He was a 1949 graduate of Amesbury High School and was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Shaw was a milk man for H. P. Hood for more than 30 years, with delivery truck routes in Amesbury and surrounding communities. He was also a machinist at Foss Manufacturing and was an independent salesman for Bernard Foods. He was a member of St. James Masonic Lodge of Hampton, and loved all animals. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Pine) Shaw; one son, David J. Shaw of Starks, Maine; three daughters, Deborah S. Thompson of Hampton, Diane E. McCowen of Hampton Falls, and Gayle D. Shaw of Hampton; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and one sister, Barbara Westlake of Bethel, Conn. He was predeceased by his first wife, Janet (Mills) Shaw. Funeral services were held Thursday in the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, Amesbury. Burial was in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Amesbury. Tillinghast, 74, of 77 Exeter Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston. She was born Sept. 10, 1925, in White Plains, N.Y., the daughter of the late Thomas F.X. and Florence M. (Buckbee) Healy. She lived in Bronxville, N.Y. for 30 years moving to North Hampton in 1979. She was educated in White Plains schools. Mrs. Tillinghast was an avid gardener and was a founding member of the Boulder Lodge Garden Club, Bronxville; a member of the Driftwood Garden Club of Rye and the Little Boars Head Garden Club of North Hampton. She was an active member of United Church of Christ, North Hampton. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John A. Tillinghast; three daughters and their husbands, Katherine T. and John Brickley of Hampton, Susan T. and John Trainor of Rye and Abigail T. and Sidney Ryan of Chesapeake, Va.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in United Church of Christ, 295 Atlantic Ave., North Hampton. Linda Dane Vezina FREMONT -- Linda Dane Vezina, 53, of Riverside Drive, died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000 at her home after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 15, 1947, in Saugus, Mass., the daughter of the late John J. and Lila L. (DeMars) McCadden. She had resided in Fremont for the past 19 years and was formerly a resident of Exeter. She attended Salem High School. Mrs. Vezina was a horse trainer with her family in her younger years. She is survived by her husband of four years, Donald Vezina of Fremont; one son, Joseph Dane of Manchester; one grandson; one brother, John J. McCadden of Salisbury, Mass.; one sister, Anna L. Wills of Salisbury; one aunt; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Jack Dane, who died in 1993. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday in St. Michael Church, Exeter. Pallbearers were Benjamin Trahan, Robert Eldredge, James Carney, Edward Wills, Henry Wills and Roy Curley. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Fremont. Memorial donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833. Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter.
