For more information, call 642-5604. Fred J. Sharron KINGSTON -- Fred "Bud" J. Sharron, 70, of Dolliver Lane, died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000 at the Exeter Hospital. He was born Sept. 20, 1930 in Gardner, Mass., the son of the late Frederick and Margaret (Gallagher) Sharron. Mr. Sharron was formerly of Gardner and Manchester and had been a resident of Kingston since 1969. He graduated Gardner High School and attended Fitchburg State Technical School. Mr. Sharron was employed as a police officer in Gardner. He was also president of DayStar Solar, which is a division of Exxon in Burlington, Mass., and was a partner at Northeast Metal Spinning in Hampstead. He attended St. Michael Church in Exeter and was a member of the Exeter Walking Group. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. Mr. Sharron is survived by his wife, Nancy (Szopa) Sharron of Kingston; four children, James Sharron of Greenwich, Conn., JoAnne Sharron of Manchester, Kenneth Brown and his wife Tamera of Cleveland, Ohio, and Julie Brown of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Cornelius Sharron of Worthington, Mass., and Charles Sharron of Florida; his mother-in-law, Natalie Szopa of Manchester; one granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church, Exeter. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, N.H. 03833 or the Rockingham V.N.A. & Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, N.H. 03833. Anna Dollard BRENTWOOD -- Anna (Pierce) Dollard, 96, of 117 North Road, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2000, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood. She was born Sept. 10, 1904, in Natick, Mass., the daughter of the late Frank N. and Annie (Knowles) Pierce. She had resided in Newmarket and in Rye until 1972. Mrs. Dollard was a domestic worker throughout the Seacoast area. She was a lifelong member of Pomona Grange No. 260 in Hampton. She is survived by one son and his wife, John P. and Betty Jane Dollard Jr. of Northwood; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Private burial will be held in Central Cemetery, Rye, at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements were by the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Irma Dickie ACTON, Mass. -- Irma (Rubega) Dickie, 71, formerly of Atkinson, died October 15, 2000, at the Suburban Manor, Acton. She was born in Franklin, Mass., the daughter of the late Alfredo and Maddalena (Segalla) Rubega and had resided in Atkinson and California before moving to Acton a short time ago. The widow of David W. Dickie, she is survived by three sons, David Dickie of Acton, William Dickie of Salem and Kyle Dickie of St. Ignatius, Mont.; six grandchildren; one brother, Robert Rubega of Groton, Conn.; and her mother-in-law, Ida MacFarlane of Woonsocket, R.I. Memorial services were held Oct. 23 in the Acton Congregational Church, Acton. Arrangements were by the Acton Funeral Home, Acton. Francis W. Colanton KINGSTON -- Francis W. Colanton, 76, of Depot Road, died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2000, at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Mass., after a brief illness. He was born Oct. 6, 1924, in Saugus, Mass., the son of the late Frank and Mary (Linnehan) Colanton. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Colanton built and formerly owned the East Kingston Golf Club and the Kingston Fairways Golf Club. He was previously a self employed real estate developer in the Lynn, Mass., area, for many years. He was an avid golfer and a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Lamott) Colanton of Kingston; two daughters, Gail Andersen and Brenda Grant, both of East Kingston; four grandchildren; one sister, Mary Olson of Lynnfield, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Armand M. Cote AMESBURY, Mass. -- Armand Milton Cote, 86, of 89 Market St., died Friday, Oct. 20, 2000, in Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport, Mass. He was born May 21, 1914, in Exeter, the son of the late Paul F. and Elmira (Giroux) Cote. Mr. Cote owned and operated Cote's Barber Shop on Friend Street, Amesbury, for 59 years, retiring in 1975. He was a longtime member of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America and was a boy scout leader. The widower of Elizabeth R. (Miller) Cote, who died in 1993, he is survived by one son and his wife, William F. and Sylvia Cote of Kensington; two daughters and their husbands, Linda M. and Arthur Watkins of Hampton Falls and Sandra J. and Jacinto Rodriguez of Plaistow; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Wilfred F. Cote of Vero Beach, Fla.; one sister, Helen Richardson of Adams, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Paul C. Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Amesbury. Burial was in Bartlett Cemetery, Amesbury.
