Carson, 91, of Christian Ave., died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Havenwoods after a period of failing health. She was born Aug. 18, 1909, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of the late Benjamin and Matilda Crowley and was a longtime resident of Kingston. She resided in Exeter from 1964 until 1986 when she moved to Concord. She was a graduate of Lynn High School and a 1931 graduate of Wheelock College, Boston. Mrs. Carson owned Camp Treasure Lea in Kingston and owned and operated the Child Garden Country Day School of Exeter until her retirement in 1979. She was a former member of Exeter Congregational Church. The widow of Arthur C. Carson, who died in 1990, she is survived by one son and his wife, Ron and Anne Marie Carson of Nashua; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepson, Gerald Carson of Manchester; one stepdaughter, Leora Lease of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter. Gregory Allen Comeau NEWMARKET -- Gregory Allen Comeau, infant son of Tina (Durgin) Comeau of Newmarket and Peter Comeau of Kingston, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2000, shortly after birth in Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Hanover. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, his twin brother, Anthony James Comeau of Newmarket and Damion Michael Comeau of Kingston; one sister, Jasmine Marie Comeau of Kingston; his grandparents, Quinn and Ruth Dagraca of Newmarket, Donald and Jeannette Durgin of Haverhill, Mass., Rosemarie Comeau and William Knowles of Kingston and Richard and Donna Comeau of Windham; his great-grandparents, Lorraine Durgin of Groveland, Mass., Florence McCusker of Kingston, Rita Comeau and Louis Comeau, both of Plaistow; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Private graveside services will be held in Willow Grove Cemetery, Newton. Romeo J. Desjardins RAYMOND -- Romeo Joseph Desjardins, 73, of 604 Kristy Court, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2000. He was born July 3, 1927, in Epping, the son of the late Daniel and Eva (Gamblin) Desjardins and had resided in Raymond for 22 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Desjardins was a machinist at Hampton Machine for more than 20 years. He had previously worked as a mechanic at Epping Garage for many years. He is survived by three daughters, Diane Hurteau, Terri Hojaboom and Sam Desjardins, all of Brentwood; three grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred Desjardins and Arthur Desjardins, both of Epping; two sisters, Leona Castle of Raymond and Rita Lawton of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Alice Brooks. Graveside military services were held Tuesday in St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 27, Epping. Griffin KINGSTON -- George David Griffin Sr., 58, of North Road, died December 7, 2000, at his home after a period of failing health. He was born July 20, 1942, in Melrose, Mass., the son of the late George J. and Jean E. (Babcock) Griffin. He was raised in Melrose and spent several years in Byfield, Mass., before moving to Kingston 29 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Griffin was an auto body mechanic and had operated a mechanic business at his home since 1977. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rita K. (Bailey) Griffin of Kingston; one son, G. David Griffin Jr. of Kingston; one daughter, Samantha Millett of Fremont; four grandchildren; two sisters, Jean Devito and Karen Holmes, both of Exeter; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services were held Monday in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter, with the Rev. Wayne VanGundy officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston. Pariseau, 47, of 37 Carriage Town Park, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was born in Beverly, Mass., and lived for several years in Merrimac and Haverhill, Mass., and in Sandown. She attended Merrimac Elementary School and Pentucket Regional High School. She was a 1971 graduate of Timberlane Regional High School, Plaistow. Ms. Pariseau was a histology technician at Hale Hospital, Haverhill, for 23 years. She was an avid reader. She is survived by one son, Raymond F. Albright of Merrimac; one brother, Thomas M. Pariseau of Merrimac; four sisters, Judy McCarthy of Haverhill, Jane Beveridge of Kingston, Gerri Strangman of Shutesbury, Mass., and Susan Young of Sandown; her longtime companion, Ed Boody and his son Michael, of Amesbury; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a.m. in Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Burial was in Center Cemetery, Sandown. (Gross) Stevenson, 84, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, in Lawrence (Mass.) General Hospital, She was born in Montpelier, Vt., lived in Richmond and Newport, Vt., for many years before moving to Atkinson 10 years ago. She was a graduate of Richmond High School and a 1939 graduate of the St. Albans Hospital School of Nursing and the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. Stevenson was a registered nurse at Newport Hospital retiring as a nursing supervisor in 1976. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Newport. The widow of Harry Stevenson, who died in 1976, she is survived by one daughter and her husband, Elizabeth and David Paquette of Atkinson, with whom she made her home; one son and his wife, Robert and Eugenie Stevenson of St. Charles, Ill.; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Spring burial will be in Richford Center Cemetery, Richford, Vt. Wallace RAYMOND -- Dale Bernard Wallace, 50, of Lisa Avenue, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, in his home after a brief illness. He was born July 24, 1950, in Exeter, the son of the late Bernard and Eva (Bean) Wallace. He attended Raymond High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Wallace was a dock worker for the Sears Logistical Center in Kingston. He was a member of the Maple Wheadon Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4479 of Raymond and of the Richard Mitchell American Legion Post No. 51 in Epping. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Wallace of Raymond; three daughters, Michele Wallace of Somersworth, Megan Wallace of Manchester and Tammy Fauci of Dover; six grandchildren; his stepmother, Joanne Wallace of Raymond; two sisters, Denise Brackett of Raymond and Gail Hannaford of Portland, Maine; one brother, Tommy Wallace of Raymond; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond. Burial was in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond.
