Permission received to include in the USGenWeb Archives. Ethel L. Bell RAYMOND -- Ethel L. Bell, 92, of Route 27, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Seacoast Health Center, Hampton. She was born Oct. 31, 1908, in Needham, Mass., the daughter of the late James W. and Clara (Godfrey) Caunt. She had resided in Londonderry for 20 years and in Raymond for the past 30 years. Mrs. Bell was a former member of the Episcopal Church in Needham. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting. She was known for making lap robe afghans for the patients in veteran hospitals and nursing facilities. The widow of Alfred E. Bell, Sr., who died in 1981, she is survived by one daughter, Virginia Melanson of Watertown, Mass.; six sons, Robert W. Bell of Needham, Charles Bell of Raymond, Kenneth Bell of Candia, Leslie Bell of Windham, Ronald Bell of Wakefield, R.I., and James Bell of West Virginia; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Clara May Boston of Needham; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Alfred E. Bell Jr., who died in 1981. Private funeral services were held Saturday in the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond. Burial will be in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Tara R. Dias FREMONT -- Tara Rosato Dias, 29, of Round Robin Loop, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born July 14, 1971, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Joseph and Colleen (Fitzsimmons) Rosato of Buffalo and had resided in New England for the past seven years. She attended Long Island University and was a cum laude graduate of State University of New York at Cortland with a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education. Mrs. Dias worked with troubled youths in association with the Eckerd Youth Alternatives Inc. She enjoyed playing softball with a coed traveling team and the beach. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Keith Dias of Fremont; one daughter, Kaley Dias; one stepdaughter, Kyrstin Dias; six sisters, Gina Carandas, Lisa Zeidman, Rita Pitassi, Margo Stevens, Dana Morris and Dominique Rosato; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Millstream Cemetery, Route 125, Kingston. Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter. Janet D. Eaton HAMPTON -- Janet Davis Eaton, 66, of 4 Rosa Road, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, at Webster at Rye, after a brief illness. She was born July 30, 1934, in Rumford, Maine, the daughter of the late Percy L. and Helen G. (Pratt) Davis. She moved to Hampton 34 years ago coming from Bangor, Maine. She was a graduate of Stephens High School, Rumford. Mrs. Eaton was a secretary for the Hampton school system for 10 years and then was a substitute secretary for the Hampton and Exeter school districts for many years. She was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader and advisor; and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She enjoyed photography and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Frank S. Eaton; three sons and their wives, Brian J. and Bernadette Eaton of Kingston, Matthew W. and Michele Eaton of Brentwood and Paul D. and Beth Eaton of Strafford; two daughters, Rhonda Wilson and her husband John of Amherst and Melinda Leblanc of Exeter; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Louise House of East Longmeadow, Mass., and Dorothy Witham of York, Maine; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton. Private interment was in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter. Bunker Jr., and Susan (Hill) Federico of 236 Danville Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2000, in Boston Children's Hospital. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, her twin, Kelsey M. Federico-Bunker, Amy Federico and Kristen Federico, all of Fremont; her maternal grandparents, Bernard and Bertha (Thompson) Hill of Plaistow; her paternal grandparents, Richard and Nancy (Lynk) Bunker of Ellsworth, Maine; her paternal great-grandmother, Elizabeth Bunker of Ellsworth; her godparents, Roland Yeager and Melanie Hill, both of Plaistow; two nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Plaistow Cemetery. Gladys L. Foley RAYMOND -- Gladys L. Foley, 93, of 46 Route 27, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood. She was born Aug. 26, 1907, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Smith) Foley, and had resided in Raymond since 1982. Miss Foley was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping. She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Richard Dolan of Florida; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, in St. Joseph Church, Route 27, Epping. Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond. Adrienne Frazier NEWTON -- Adrienne Dube Frazier, 77, of Route 108, died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, in Exeter Hospital after a brief illness. She was born Sept. 23, 1923, in Quebec, Canada, the daughter of the late Noel and Amelia (LeBlanc) St. Pierre and had resided in Lowell, Mass., before moving to Newton in 1975. Mrs. Frazier was a technician at Wang Laboratories, Tewksbury, Mass., for 11 years and was previously employed at Alexander Food Markets, Lowell, Mass., for eight years. She attended Trinity Church, Haverhill, Mass. She is survived by four daughters, Carmen "Kim" Rousseau of Centerville, Md., Claire Gooding of Haverhill, Pierrette "Pat" Jaynes of Dover and Pauline Molleur of Nashua; two sons, Andrew Dube of Rindge and Lawrence "Larry" Dube of Newton; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Ferriere St. Pierre of Coaticook, Que.; and one nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Dube, who died in 1988, and one granddaughter, Bridget Gooding, who died in 1995. Funeral services were held Thursday in Trinity Church, Haverhill. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lawrence, Mass. Marie Y. Lagasse PLAISTOW -- Marie Yvonne (Desilets) Lagasse, 89, a longtime resident of 4 Westville Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center, Haverhill, Mass. She was born in Haverhill and moved to Plaistow at the age of 12. She attended the Moody School, Haverhill, and Pollard School in Plaistow. Mrs. Lagasse was a french cord turner in the local shoe industry for many years, retiring from Ornstein Shoe Co. She was a member of Holy Angels Parish, Plaistow, and the United Shoe Workers of America, AFL-CIO. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid card player who enjoyed cribbage and 45s. The widow of Abel L. Lagasse, who died in 1995, she is survived by two daughters, Joan German and her husband Russell of Haverhill and Norma Trenholm of Merrimac, Mass.; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Friday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Plaistow. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery, East Road, Plaistow. Elizabeth M. Martin BRENTWOOD -- Elizabeth M. Martin, 69, of North Road, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2000, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home after a period of failing health. She was born Jan. 22, 1931, in Hampstead, the daughter of the late Fred and Bernice (Foss) Bailey, and resided in Exeter and Newmarket for many years, moving to Brentwood seven years ago. Mrs. Martin was a former employee of McCallum Co., Newmarket, and The Exeter Inn, Exeter. She was a faithful church attendee at the nursing home and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, playing bingo and crafts. She is survived by three sons, Everett G. Martin Jr. of Alton, and Abraham M. Martin and Charles F. Martin, both of Fremont; four daughters, Diane R. Martin of Hampton Beach, Deltina S. Martin of Newmarket, Deborah M. Hardy of Newburyport, Mass., and Christine L. LeBlanc of Exeter; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Cullen of Haverhill, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Morgan LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Trudy M. Morgan, 62, died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2000, at Mariner Healthcare, Methuen, Mass., after a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 3, 1938, in Garrett, Pa., the daughter of Oliver and Hanna Marie (DeArmitt) Pritts. Mrs. Morgan was a waitress at Denny's in Lawrence for more than five years. She is survived by four sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Sally Martin of Salem, Keith and Carol Martin of Hampstead, Thomas Martin of Lawrence and Timmothy Martin of Florida; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Theodore Pritts of Garland, Tex., and Jimmy Pritts of Methuen; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harry Pritts, Robert Pritts and Lloyd Pritts. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Hart-Wallace Funeral Home, Lawrence. Mullick, 62, of Chase Road, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born Jan. 30, 1938, in Somerville, Mass., the daughter of the late Edmund and Florence (McGoldrick) Dondero. She had resided in Newton for 30 years coming from Reading, Mass. She graduated valedictorian of her class at St. Mary's High School and was a graduate of Merrimac College, North Andover, Mas. Mrs. Mullick was a personal service representative for Liberty Mutual in Boston for five years. She was a member of the National Maltese Club. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ronald N. Mullick of Newton; one brother, Charles Dondero of Byfield, Mass; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass was celebrated Thursday in Mary Mother of the Church, Newton. Pond HAMPTON FALLS -- Burton W. Pond, 72, of 11 Weare Road, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000, in Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born Oct. 4, 1928, in Amesbury, Mass., the son of the late George W. and Natalie L. (Titcomb) Pond. He was a 1948 graduate of Sanborn Seminary, Kingston. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the Seabees. Mr. Pond was employed at Hampton Village Hardware Store retiring in 1993 after 17 years of service. He had previously worked for the Beane Construction Co. of Rye and for the former Eames Furniture Store in Hampton. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, June N. (Rymer) Pond; three sons and their wives, Neal A. and Ellen Pond of Hampton Falls, Barry K. and Sherrie Pond of Hailey, Idaho, and Larry G. and Lorna Pond of Exeter; five grandchildren; one sister, Sandra L. Peterson of Laguna, Calif.; and two nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday First Baptist Church, Hampton Falls. David Rain NEWTON -- David Rain, 58, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, as the result of an automobile accident on Route 108 in Newton. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., the son of the late Harry and Mildred (Marcoux) Rain and had resided in Newton for 45 years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Lucille (Gosselin) Rain; one son, Jason Rain of Greeley, Colo.; one daughter, Melissa Rain of Ft. Collins, Colo.; one brother, Alan Rain of Columbus, Ohio; three sisters, Sandra Clancy of Seattle, Wash., Jeannine Dusombre of Stoneham, Mass., and Pauline Smith of West Newbury, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
