Bergeron DUMMER - Armand A. Bergeron, 67, formerly of Hill Road, died on Jan. 6, 2001, at Coös County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown after a long illness. He was born in Berlin on July 17, 1933, the son of Joseph and Marie Louise Bergeron. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Bergeron was employed as a building service worker at the New Hampshire Vocational Technical College in Berlin, until illness forced his retirement in 1990. He was a longtime member of St. Kieran Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish. He also was a former Dummer selectman, having served several terms. Family members include his wife, Doris Wheeler Bergeron of Dummer; a daughter, Cecilia Bergeron Allen of Salem; a son, Neil Bergeron of Hampton; three grandchildren; three brothers, Emile Bergeron of Bear, Del., Gilbert Bergeron of Townsend, Del., and Gerard Bergeron of Berlin. He was predeceased by a son, John Bergeron in 1989. Calling hours are today, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin.
