Christian WESTMORELAND - Albert W. Christian, 57, of 457 Spofford Road, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at his home. He was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Peterborough, the son of Homer and Olivine (Cote) Christian. He was raised in Jaffrey and lived there until 1971. He had resided in Keene and Hampton, moving to Westmoreland last March. He was educated in Jaffrey schools. Mr. Christian was the meat sales coordinator for SuperValu. He had previously owned Christian Meats and More in Jaffrey and was employed by Wetterau, Inc., Cressy Docham Foods and Native Foods. He was a craftsman woodworker and furniture maker. He is survived by his wife, Joslyn (Perreault) Christian of Westmoreland; one son, Jason Christian of Hampton; three daughters, Cari Christian-Coates of Keene, Cathleen C. Watson of Westmoreland and Christine E. Fowler of Nottingham; a stepson, Todd Corneliusen of Lindenhurst, L.I.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Christian of Groton, Conn., and Richard Christian of Manchester; three sisters, Beverly MacDonald of Keene and Bertha Record and Laura Pratt, both of Jaffrey; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son. Albert L. "Albie" Christian, who died in August. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Monadnock View Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice, 69 Island St., Keene, NH 03431 or to Acting Out, Monadnock Family Services, 310 Marlboro St., Keene, NH 03431.
