Eaton Jr. SEABROOK - Alton D. "Zilly" Eaton Jr., 73, of 46 Adams Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2001, in Exeter Hospital. He was born June 9, 1927, in Seabrook, the son of the late Alton D. and Eliza B. (Eaton) Eaton. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict serving for 16 years in the army and with the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years. Following his retirement from the service he was a part-time police officer in Seabrook and was employed in the security department at the Seabrook Greyhound Park. He was a former member of the Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post No. 70 of Seabrook. He is survived by his wife, Edna A. (Blaisdell) Eaton of Seabrook; two sons, Harry L. Blaisdell and Alton D. Eaton III, both of Seabrook; one daughter, Charlene M. Mills of Seabrook; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Helen D. Knowles, Altina S. Eaton and Necia P. Thurlow, all of Seabrook, and Dora L. Lounsbury of Merrimac, Mass.; three brothers, Arthur H. Eaton of Seabrook, Samuel L. Eaton of Northwood and Franklin D. Eaton of Vermont; three sisters-in-law, Tekla Eaton, Audrey Eaton and Charlotte Eaton; and 21 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Raymond Eaton, who died in 1993. There are no calling hours and it is requested that flowers be omitted.
