Harris WHITEFIELD - Anson J. Harris, 18, of Kimball Hill Road, died on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at his home. He was born in St. Johnsbury, Vt., the son of George Jr. and Sherrill (Gardella) Harris. He was a senior at White Mountains Regional High School, and a member of the track and field team. He was selected for the New Hampshire All-Star Team for the 300 meter hurdle. Anson’s passion in life was his artistic talent, whether drawing or airbrushing. He enjoyed playing his guitar, snowboarding, paintball games, reading, and four-wheeling. He also was talented in carpentry and had recently finished cabinets for his dad. All who knew him loved him, and came to him for his listening skills as a friend. He will be missed by his four-legged companions, Lacey and Darcy. He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Kimberly Grattan of Weare and Holly Harris of Whitefield; a brother, Joseph Harris of Whitefield; his grandmother, Frances Gardella of Concord, Mass., and a great-grandmother, Elizabeth Bartlett of Rupert, Idaho. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 11:30 a.m., at the Community Baptist Church, Jefferson Road, Whitefield. Burial followed at the Kimball Hill Cemetery.
