Barbara L. Evans 

CHESTER - Barbara L. Evans, 78, of Haverhill Road, died on Jan. 29, 2001, in 
her home.
Born in Wakefield, Mass., on Oct. 12, 1922, she was the daughter of Edward 
and Susie (Farnsworth) Gregory. She lived more than 50 years in Chester.
She was the widow of Edward F. Evans. In addition, she was predeceased by a 
daughter, Elizabeth Torrey.
Family members include a daughter, Bonnie Erwin of Jefferson; a son, Wayne 
Evans of Ninilchik, Alaska; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Spring burial will be in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.
