Smith, of 41 H. Shore Drive, died on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at her home. She was born in Brewer, Maine, on Jan. 18, 1942, the daughter of Kenneth Colpitts of Bangor, Maine, and the late Flora (Marshall) Colpitts. She was a graduate of Bangor High School, Class of 1960. She attended the Advent Christian Church of Portsmouth, N.H. Besides her husband of 40 years and her father, survivors include one daughter, Karen L. Smith, of Hampton, N.H.; one son, Michael R. Smith of Oregon; a granddaughter, Kiah Smith of Oregon; two sisters, Judy Sproul of Bangor, Maine, and Charlene Wilson of Colorado; one brother, Kenneth Colpitts Jr., of Bangor, Maine; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Advent Christian Church, 634 State St., Portsmouth. Friends are invited. Visiting hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth. Jan 21, 2001 Mrs. Constance Marie (Colpitts) Smith PEABODY, Mass. - Funeral service for Mrs. Constance Marie (Colpitts) Smith, 58, of 41 H. Shore Drive, was held from J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, Portsmouth, with services at the Advent Christian Church, Portsmouth. Rev. Russell Carle, Pastor, Rev. Willie Baston, Rev. Glenn Rice, and Rev. Warren Conary, officiated. Words of remembrance were given by Michael Smith. Organist was Priscilla Marshall. Vocalist was Rev. and Mrs. Jean Squire. Pianist was Sandee Conary. In attendance were members of the church. Bearers were Mark Tappan, Doug Tappan, Eric Hannaford, Philip Marshall, Peter Marshall, and Paul Andrews.
