Barnett GROVETON - Dean L. Barnett, 68, of Lost Nation Road, died at his home on Jan. 3, 2001 after a sudden illness. Mr. Barnett was born in Lancaster on May 13, 1932, the son of True W. and Helen M. (Gallagher) Barnett. A longtime resident of Lost Nation, he ran a dairy farm on the homestead many years ago. For most of his years he operated a junkyard on his property. His life also centered around his faithful companion, Duchess. Family members include two brothers, Wilbur J. Barnett of Groveton and Mt. Dora, Fla., and Howard J. Barnett of Gorham, and Benson, Ariz. There are no visiting hours. Services will be announced in the spring. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Lancaster Humane Society, Martin Meadow Pond Road, Lancaster, NH 03584.
