Lagassa EXETER - Dorothy C. Lagassa, 85, of Riverwoods, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001, at the Lodge at Riverwoods. Born Aug. 8, 1915, in Manitowoe, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Schipper) Zabinski. She was the wife of George A. Lagassa for 65 years. In addition to her husband, family members include one son, George K. Lagassa and his wife, Parthenia, of North Hampton; one daughter, Barbara Lagassa Tack of Exeter; three grandchildren, Jason Roach and his wife, Aki Takanezawa, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Beach and Phelps Lagassa, both of North Hampton; and one sister, Eleanor E. Hanson of Medford, Ore. She will forever be remembered as a warm, fun-loving wife and mother, a diligent and creative craftsman and homemaker, a superb cook and a trusted friend. She leaves behind a life well-lived. LAGASSA - Dorothy C. Lagassa, 85, of Riverwoods of Exeter, died Jan. 4, 2001. Services will be held at at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 14, in the Great Bay Room of Riverwoods, 7 Riverwoods Drive, Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Private burial was in the Center Cemetery, North Hampton. The family requests no visiting hours and flowers please be omitted. If desired, donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833.
