Francis G. Laurent 

NORTH READING, Mass. - Francis G. Laurent, 48, of 1 Country Club Road, died 
Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001, in Vencor Hospital, Peabody, Mass. 

He was born Nov. 30, 1952, in Amesbury, Mass., the son of the late Horace and
Mary (Dufour) Laurent. 

Mr. Laurent was enrolled in the Compass Enterprizes Day Program in Melrose, 
Mass. 

He is survived by one brother, Ted Laurent of Exeter; three sisters, Annette 
Laurent of Haverhill, Mass., Renee Soucy of Amesbury, and Ruth Laurent of 
Bradford, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. 

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the E.V. Jutras & Sons 
Funeral Home, 118 Friend St., Amesbury. Calling hours will be held Saturday 
at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the May Institute, 220 
Norwood Park South, Norwood, MA 02062.
