He was born Aug. 6, 1917, in Chicopee, Mass., the son of the late Frank M. and Jessie E. (Miles) Beesley. He had resided in Lynnfield, Mass., for 55 years before moving to Exeter five years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelor of arts degree. He served as president of the Alumni Association, Class of 1939. Mr. Beesley was the founder of Beesley Associates, a management consulting business in Boston, and served as president for 20 years. He was a member of the Lynnfield School Committee and was active on the school building committee and other town organizations. He was an active member of Centre Congregational Church, Lynnfield. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Eleanor (Cook) Beesley; two sons, Richard C. Beesley of Atlanta, Ga., and Peter Beesley of Marblehead, Mass.; one daughter, Martha Gardner of Atlanta; and four grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Centre Congregational Church, Lynnfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Bldg., 360 Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03310-5032.
