Giacomo Rossi 

EXTER - Giacomo "Jack" Rossi, 87, of Exeter Rose Farms, died suddenly Monday,
Jan. 8, 2001, at his home. 

He was born May 6, 1913, in Dover, the son of the late Battista and Rosina 
(Iamarta) Rossi. 

He resided in Exeter for more than 60 years, having been employed as a rose 
grower for Exeter Rose Farms, which was owned and operated by the Dagostino 
family. 

He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church in Exeter. 

He was predeceased by his wife, Carolina "Lena" (Dagostino) Rossi, who died 
in 1969; his brother, John Rossi; and two sisters, Theresa Wooten and 
Magdalena Rossi. 

He is survived by his daughter Evelyn Dimock and her husband, Neve, of 
Stratham; two grandsons, N. Nathan Dimock of Washington, D.C., and Cyrus 
Dimock of Dover; three sisters, Josephine Gutjahr of Flanders, N.J., Lena 
Bohley of Rochester and Edith McManus of Dover; one brother, Louis Rossi of 
Somersworth; and several nieces and nephews.
