Bulley KITTERY, Maine - Mrs. Helene G. Bulley, 80, of Kittery, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Harbor Home in York after a lengthy period of illness. Born March 26, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Grace (Keene) Grace Sr. She attended local schools and then attended nursing schools, specializing in radiology and laboratory technology. She was the first registered nurse to work at York Harbor Hospital, now the Harbor Home, back in 1943. In her spare time, she was active in the Lioness Club of Kittery; she became a charter member of the Lioness and held positions as an officer. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, playing cards and Scrabble. She was an avid bingo player. She married her husband, Llewelyn, in June 1955. She and her husband enjoyed traveling; they were both world travelers and enjoyed their former winter home in Tavares, Fla. In addition to her husband, survivors include her daughter, Beverly Bryant and her husband, Gordon, of South Paris; a son, George Brooks and his wife, Nancy, of Berwick, and her stepson, Clifford Bulley and his wife, Brenda, of Vallejo, Calif.; her loving sister, Shirley Williams, and her husband, Frank, of Kittery; her dear brother, Ronald Grace of Atco, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by a very close friend of the family, Darren Johnson. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Grace Jr. BULLEY - Funeral services for Helene G. Bulley, 80, who died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Harbor Home, York, Maine, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at the Wilson-Cooper Funeral Home, 21 Rogers Road, Kittery. Burial will take place in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery, Berwick.
