Herbert L. Whitehouse 

ORLANDO, Fla. - Herbert L. Whitehouse, 81, of Rivers Pointe Drive, Orlando, 
died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, of respiratory failure. 

He was born in Portsmouth, N.H. 

A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he moved to central Florida in 1971. He 
worked as a salesman. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and
the American Legion Post 270, both in Port Orange. 

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor E. Whitehouse of Orlando; a son, Charles 
T. Whitehouse of Stanford, Conn.; two daughters, Susan J. Monaham of Tampa, 
and Sally A. Egli of Orlando; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
