Bunnell MILTON, Vt. - Louis A. Bunnell, 67, of Milton, Vt., died on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, Vt., following a short illness. Lou was born in Stewartstown on Feb. 25, 1933, the son of Harley and Beata (Rochefort) Bunnell. On March 17, 1951, he was married to Shirley Meunier in St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Winooski, Vt. Lou was the owner of Lou and Sons Body Shop in Milton for more than 30 years. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Winooski and of the Milton Lions Club. In addition to his loving wife of more than 49 years, Shirley, he is survived by his children Joan Weston of Essex Junction, Vt. Judy Webb of Milton, Mike Bunnell of Williston, Vt., Brenda McGrath of Colchester, Mark Bunnell of Milton, Mitchell Bunnell of Fairfax, Vt. and Debbie LaCross of Milton; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters Jeanette Bordeaux of Ludlow, Mass., and Theresa Forbes of Exeter. Lou was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Pauline Gay. There will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Burial will be held in the spring.
