Ammells NEWTON - Mary C. (King) Ammells, 85, of 14A Packer Meadows, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, in Exeter Hospital. She was born April 28, 1915, in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of the late William and Della (Jellison) King. Mrs. Ammells was an embosser for Goralmick & Swartz for most of her life. She is survived by two granddaughters, Maureen Blake of Haverhill and Anne Haley of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; one grandson, Paul L. Kneeland of Mountain Top, Pa.; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Elwood King and Lionel King, both of Haverhill; five sisters, Loretta Merrick and Margaret Chapinski, both of Haverhill, Anna Eaton of North Hampton, Arlene Warren of Acton, Maine, and Joanne Valley of Haverhill; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her only son, Baron L. Kneeland, who died Thanksgiving Day in 1999. Private spring graveside services will be held in Maplewood North Parish Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833. Arrangements are by the Paul C.
