Born in Sharon Hill, Penn., July 22, 1943, she was the daughter of Harry and Mary (Brooks) Reed. She had been a resident of Portsmouth for the past 20 years. She was a member of St. James Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mary McGee of Brentwood; three sons, Michael Lucas of Portsmouth, Steven Lucas of Richardson, Texas, and David Lucas of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Tony McGee, Heather McGee, Tyler McGee and Emily Lucas; two sisters, Patricia DiCostanzo of Holmes, Penn., and Barbara Caprice of Ocala, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. LUCAS - Mary Ann Lucas, 57, of 10 Decatur Road, died Jan. 18, 2001. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. James Church, Route 1, Lafayette Road, Portsmouth. Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m., Monday, at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth.
